Your certified Energy Efficient home uses 20% less energy per year.

Kensington Homes is a participating builder in the New Homes Program with Efficiency Manitoba. We have successfully built several Certified Energy Efficient homes that meet or exceed the minimum energy code requirement  – look for the badge on our move-in ready page. All Kensington show homes are tested by a third party and receive an official EnerGuide label and home energy report from Natural Resources Canada.

Mortgage Loan Insurance – Energy Efficiency Rebates

If you are buying a home with a down payment of less than 20%, you may need mortgage loan insurance.

If your Kensington Home has been Certified Energy Efficient through the New Homes Program, or if it meets a minimum 20% performance better than score, you may be eligible for a 25% mortgage insurance premium refund from one of the following programs:
